Best pancakes ever, monster sized, but not dry. Always flavorful. Side of hash could be a meal, and a good amount of bacon and sausage for the price. Coffee is nice, and refills come by quickly. Best part besides the master class, old school pancakes is the old school decor. It always ends up being the breakfast stop when within an hour of the Skowhegan area.

Try their raspberry pancakes, omg, first time I had them there in 2021 and I came back this year for them, the best pancakes I’ve ever had and they are huge, attaching a photo with my hand near to compare

This was our first trip to Maine and we stumbled across The Purple Cow - EPIC! Large quantity for the price, homemade and delicious! Staff were super friendly and professional!

Giant griddle pancakes and all the breakfast fixings you can want. Been coming here for the last two years and have enjoyed the home comforts each time. Quirky, non-presumptive setting with friendly wait staff and quick service. Will be coming here as long as I am in central Maine.

We stopped in on our way back to North Carolina from Acadia. The food is so good, we were more than happy! It’s a LOT too. Biggest bang for your buck. Our server Jessica was very sweet and efficient! Highly recommend

BEST corn beef hash I have ever had in my life. I live in Colorado and we had brunch here while we were visiting friends in Maine. Corn beef hash is my favorite breakfast and when I ordered it here, I realized it’s the best I’ve ever had, by a landslide. It’s a meal I order often at many places, and it’s never been so amazing as it was as Purple Cow!!! I wish they could mail it me in Colorado!

These are the biggest pancakes I’ve ever had. Wish I had just ordered one. My daughter had scrambled eggs with broccoli. Said it was delicious. Great service. Clean bathrooms. If you’re hungry for pancakes. This is your place !! They even have drive thru.

If you're interested in old-fashioned country-style breakfast, this is the place. In addition to delicious food, the plates are amazingly oversized. You have to have a big appetite or take home an unfinished plate for later eating.
